Every one of these was designed in-house with a working store in it — a flower shop, a cake atelier, a coffee roaster, a candle studio, a creamery, a pet shop, a clothing boutique and more. Open any of them full-screen and walk through the shop, then make it yours: change the words, swap the photos, recolor the site.

Products that look like they belong to you
Give every product its own page: photos, a price, the story behind it, and up to three options — size, color, scent — each with its own price, stock and photo. Group products into categories, keep count of what's in stock, and anything that runs out shows as sold out.
The shop sits on your own site, in your own fonts and colors — not a listing on a marketplace, one row among everybody else's.
Cart & checkout
A checkout your customers already trust
A slide-out cart keeps the order in view, and checkout is Stripe's own payment page, on your Stripe account, with no account for the customer to create first. Set shipping rates flat, by order total or by weight, with free shipping over an amount you choose. Mark the items people collect for in-store pickup, add discount codes, and switch on sales tax so Stripe Tax collects it wherever you're registered.
What the customer pays goes to your Stripe account and out to your bank on Stripe's schedule. Tropic Arts takes 0% of it; the only fees on a sale are Stripe's own.
Orders & customers
Every order in one place, every buyer on your list
Orders land in your dashboard the moment they're paid, with the items, tax and total. The customer gets a confirmation email right away, and when you add the tracking number they get a shipping email with it — or, for pickup, an email saying the order's ready. Refund all of an order or just part of it from the same screen.
Every buyer is saved to your customer list: their email, and for a shipped order their name, phone and address too. Someone who orders again is matched to the record they already have, so it's one line per person, and the whole list is yours to export whenever you want it.
Coming back
Give them a reason to order again
After you mark an order fulfilled, the buyer gets an email asking for a review, with a link straight to what they bought. It goes five days later by default, or after any delay you set up to 60 days. Reviews wait for your approval unless you tell them not to, then show on the product page with their stars.
Sell what people buy again and again as a subscription — a bag of coffee, a candle of the month, a box of whatever you make — and Stripe bills it monthly or yearly on its own, while subscribers change or cancel from a link in their email. And if what you make is a file, like a pattern or a printable, it's delivered the moment the payment clears.

Store: $35 a month, or $300 for the year, which works out to $25 a month. It includes everything in Starter — booking, your customer list, the newsletter and a mailbox on your own domain — plus the shop. There are no setup fees and no contract. Building and previewing the whole site is free; you pay when you publish it.
No. Tropic Arts takes 0% of every order and 0% of every subscription invoice. Checkout runs on your own Stripe account, and Stripe charges its own processing fee — 2.9% + 30¢ per charge at standard US rates — plus its Stripe Tax fee wherever you collect sales tax. We add nothing to either.
Yes. Nothing here asks you to close anything. A marketplace is a good place to be found; a shop of your own is where a buyer becomes your customer, with their email on your list and no marketplace in between.
Not in one click — there's no Etsy import. A Squarespace or GoDaddy product export imports as is, photos included. From anywhere else, copy your listings into the sample spreadsheet, one row per product with links to its photos, and upload that.
Yes. Store includes everything in Starter, so you can put a request form on any page, for a wedding cake, event flowers or a commission, with the fields you choose. Each request lands in your dashboard and saves the customer to your list.
No. A domain is bought separately on every plan, either through us or from wherever you already own one. What the plan covers is the hosting, the SSL certificate, and a mailbox on that domain once it's connected.
